Good to Know

The activities in the Summer boxes cover the following learning objectives….

Year R – To be able to count in 2s, add and subtract by counting on and counting back, measure and order lengths and know by heart the number bonds for 10.

Year 1 – To be able to add and subtract one-digit and two-digit numbers and count in multiples of 10. To know the doubles for the numbers 1 to 6 and find the number one more or one less than a given number.

Year 2 – To be able to recognise odd and even numbers, measure and compare lengths, round two-digit numbers to the nearest 10 and make a particular value from a combination of coins.

Year 3 – To be able to recall the facts for the 4, 8 and 12 times tables, solve missing number sentences,tell the time to the nearest minute and add and subtract numbers mentally.
